objectivesYou will be part of the central Financial Market Infrastructure competence center which is responsible globally for all FMI-related regulatory topics (such as EMIR, FMIA and MiFIR trading related obligations), reporting and respective controls. You will analyse new regulations / changes to existing regulations, initiate and drive related change projects, define efficient controls, perform such controls, and act as Subject Matter Expert in the area of Trading and Financial Market Infrastructure.Responsibilities
Lead projects or workstreams related to global trading and derivatives reporting obligations (e.g. EMIR, FMIA & MiFIR) and other related topics such as risk mitigation (e.g. collateral) and clearing.
Define efficient transaction reporting processes and controls, ensure daily reporting duties are performed, and execute related controls.
Transform regulatory updates and changes to the reporting/control setup into IT specifications and coordinate the implemenatation process with various stakeholders.
Take responsibility for the group-wide exception handling and investigation activities. Collaborate with colleagues accross the Bank (Front Units, Trading, Legal & Compliance, Operations and IT).
Act as global Subject Matter Expert and sparting partner for any FMI matters for trading, front units, legal & compliance and further internal as well as external stakeholders.
Assess regular updates of service providers regarding interface and content specifications. Coordinate with Legal and IT departments and drive the implementation.
Be close to the financial market in terms of developments and updates of FMI/Trading related regulations and continuously build up knowledge and competence in this area.
Master’s university degree in a relevant field and/or education in business or finance.
At least 8 years of working experience in the banking or insurance sector, with a focus on trading, derivatives and related regulations.
Deep trading and product know-how of derivatives, as well as profound understanding of EMIR/FMIA/SFTR and MiFID/MiFIR regulations is a must.
Very good computer skills (including Microsoft Office programs); strong excel skills to analyze high volumes of data.
Highly self-driven working style that is pragmatic & outcome oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
Team player, ability to work with various, also very senior stakeholders.
Excellent conceptual and analytical problem solving skills.
Project management experience and respective track record.
Full proficiency of the German and English language, and very good communication and presentation skills.
