What you'll be doing
This eMR Patient Administration System (PAS) Application Specialist role is responsible for the coordination, management and maintenance of the technical components pertaining to eMR PAS applications including but not limited to Scheduling, Person Management and Profile.
The position will be required to liaise with eMR users at both facility and at District levels, Health Information Managers and other PAS team members relating to technical changes within the eMR PAS for various projects and business as usual work undertaken in South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD).
The role will be required to action and complete service tickets logged to the Service Desk system as well as working with project teams on issues and activities relating to the eMR PAS applications. Provision of go live support for eMR users will also be required to ensure successful implementation of new eMR functionality.
Although this position will be based at the ICT Service, Liverpool Eastern Campus, there may be a requirement to work from other South Western Sydney Local Health District facilities to undertake eMR support activities as required.
As part of the SWSLHD eMR Team this position provides support for a high availability system thus requiring support out of office hours occasionally/on a regular basis.
