** Overview** ** The role:** This position is to build and maintain a high performance sales organisation to effectively achieve business objectives. Reporting into the Country Manager and member of the Management Team, the National Sales Manager is responsible for planning, managing and overseeing all sales operations. Leading three Area Sales Managers and their teams, an Oribe Key Account Manager and the CS&P Field activator the National Sales Manager provides ongoing mentoring, coaching and performance management to the Sales Team. Working together with the EMEA region and DACH organisation to ensure implementation of the EMEA region toolbox, materials and guidelines including sales capabilities programs to ensure working in line with our Kao Salon Strategy. ** What you will do:** * Lead the sales organisation to ensure the delivery of the sales and distribution targets. Provide ongoing feedback, coaching and mentoring to the sales team. Continuously ensure sales processes, districts and visit plans are in place and being optimized. Identify and develop opportunities to enhance collaboration with Customer Service, Marketing and Education. * Implement the EMEA region toolbox, materials and guidelines including the sales capabilities programs and webshop to ensure working in line with our Kao Salon Strategy. Lead the delivery of successful innovations and campaigns in collaboration with marketing and education. * Responsible for development of strategic, long-term relationships with 3-5 Key Accounts in Indirect Channel. Including regular customer visits, contract management and Joint Business Planning. * Oversee the process and coordinate activities for company metrics and scorecard. Set targets and follow up the activities performed by the sales team. Reporting Forecast, Flash and comments related to actuals and * Act as an ambassador of the organisation and maximise opportunities to promote the name, image and reputation of the company at industry functions, networking events and meetings with new and existing clients. * Take part in Management meetings, Company meetings and SME meetings. Plan and lead regular sales meetings and 1:1 with direct reports. * Ensure effective hiring, training, development and retention of the sales team ** What you will need:** * Graduate with Bachelor degree or equivalent with business, marketing and sales or related field of study * Proven 5+ years management experience in a similar area (beauty, health and fashion) with a track record of identifiable successes in same/similar industry sectors , health and fashion. Knowledge of the Professional Salon industry is preferred. * Experienced user of MS Office, Outlook and SAP * SAP BI knowledge (Business Intelligence) * Experience in evaluations of sales KPI's * Strong communication/presentation skills * Fluent in German & English, French as an advantage * How a Sales Division should be managed and how best to drive continuous sales performance improvements through team members * How to devise sales strategies and promotions that can be put in place as part of a long term plan or at short notice to boost sales * How to construct deals and write contracts for key clients which do not compromise margins and company guidelines * Have strong track record and history of successful team leading, preferably history in developing consultative selling skills for a sales team: Regular meetings with team members to motivate, coach, lead and share best practices. * Excellent skills in Excel in order to analyse and track commercial activities indebt and build tools for the sales team * Excellent skills in Powerpoint in order to build offers and presentations for the sales team. * Experience in building strong customer concepts for new customers, including impactful presentations and materials ** Who we are:** Founded in Japan in 1887, Kao is passionate about making a difference in people's lives with our high quality products and services that make the life of our consumers and customers more beautiful.
