As the first purpose-led acquisition of VF Corporation, we have never been in a better place to drive a global movement for nature, and the betterment of our species and the planet.Let's talk about the role!The Merchandising Manager, is responsible to create the right global assortments and focusing on top markets and the Strategic Accounts and analyse our consumer ensuring a healthy growth and the right product offer.The Merchandising Manager role is a dynamic position that interfaces with multiple internal departments, especially sales, marketing and planning.It's the Merchandising Manager job to create impactful and profitable assortments in line with the Brand Vision and Strategic expansion.This role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Planning / Supply Chain.What will you do?Primary accountabilities:• Assure merchandising plans are aligned with Financial and Strategical plans, allowing growth of market share within the account. Determine and execute on differentiation needs for the account and marketplace. Check and report of sales performance KPIs. Be part of developing a GTM process for the account that provides clarity for all involved across multiple seasons. Be a market expert in terms of product needs across the top markets and Strategic accounts. Be available and proactive for account meetings in market to build personal relationships allowing plans and execution being quick and seamless.• Strong ability to use analysis, assumptions, market insights and trends to identify future areas of improvements in the product assortment and working closely with the account, Product and Planning team to scope, plan, forecast and execute future additions and changes to build the best consumer offer• Understand the different Distribution channels and their complexities• Ensure product range meets market needs, Long Term Strategy and growth plans, focusing on strategic accounts.• Manage Line planning process, Pricing strategy, Proto review and Line Close selection for key product categories• Be the link between Global HQ and regions in terms of product needs• Build seasonal product and line briefs• Use key market trends and customer insight to provide seasonal initiatives and product positioning• Deliver revenue goals and introduce new product families to help drive this• Perform regular market visits and meet with key customers supporting sales managers• Perform Merchandising Presentations and product sessions during GTM and at Sales Meetings• Plan and drive the seasonal assortment strategy to impact seasonal retail planning• Collate market data and present to senior management teamsWhat's on your CV?• University Degree• 5 years + experience in branded merchandise/development, retail buying or product design/development experience• Be able to work in a multicultural environment• Experience in Lifestyle or Action Sports Brand or a large European Retailer• Strong communication& presentation skills• Experience in forecasting, statistical modelling, and/or strategic planning helpful• Languages: English - any additional European language is definitely a plusWhat's in it for you?It's not just our products which set us apart from others, our people first approach is what drives us.• Be part of VF International: a multi brand and multi countries organization with career growth opportunities.• International, fun yet challenging working culture• Join a purpose-led brand and organizationicebreaker is a world leader in natural fibers clothing, and we supply our Natural products for our consumers to move to Natural in more than 5000 stores across 50 countries.
