To be successful you need to have deep knowledge in strategic communication and brand positioning - both internal and external – actively demonstrating best in class know-how and tapping into developing trends.

You also have/can:
•Proven, extensive, experience from working with strategic communication and/or business leadership
•Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of communication adding value as an integrated part of the business
•Strong retail industry understanding and experience
•Achieve business goals by successfully working interdependently within the market and globally
•Extensive experience from working with both external (incl. digital communication), internal communication, Public affairs, brand positioning and stakeholder management

We know that you are energized by working both independently in the market/unit and interdependently with the communication matrix, other functions/units and the global communication team in Ingka Group.

Key responsibilities (title) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities (text) As our new Country Communication Manager you are an active member in the country management team, contributing with business insight and functional expertise in order to secure the overall performance of the country.

You will also:
•Lead and develop an impactful communication strategy, action plan (including Public Affairs) in the market, both internally and externally, and secure that communication is used as a strategic tool for leading and developing business and people
•In close collaboration with other key contributors, drive growth and brand positioning towards target groups, in line with the Ingka retail direction, global communication plan and country BPL,–developing long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders
•Represent communication in the country management team, leveraging strategic functional expertise and contributing to the growth and development of IKEA on the market, and acting as strategic business partner to the Country Manager
•Act as spokesperson for Ingka in the market and securing other effective spokespeople in the market through briefing and training

You will also enable effective internal communication and engagement, and create prerequisites for our co-workers, in all legal entities, to be our best ambassadors.
