Become a trusted partner in innovative capsules, dosage form solutions and health ingredients for pharmaceutical companies and by applying for the position as Capsules & Health Ingredients Office Head. As the Head of CHI Office, you’ll work directly for the CHI BU President and closely with our leadership team to help grow, scale and run the day to day operations of CHI more effectively. In this role, you will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on CHI productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing communication objectives and project managing key projects, driving both the strategic vision and project execution. This role requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence.
You will be the right hand of the CHI President to execute on all major Business Unit priorities.  Key responsibilities: * Act as an extension of the President on strategic projects * Manage projects for the President, ensuring deadlines are met and appropriate steps taken.
Help keep the President on track, regularly report status, and proactively lighten her workload * Oversee strategic business initiatives from design through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership * Identify and own key projects to drive operational maturity in CHI in partnership with the President. * Join business-related calls, take thorough notes and participate in next steps and action items * Serve as the organizational “glue” – connecting, onboarding, and supporting the growth of leadership and integration efforts * Prepare and execute all executive materials and presentations * Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity * Define new operational strategies, working with the President and executives on special projects * Develop agendas and materials for executive meetings; track action plans and follow-ups to completion * Create high quality presentations for the EC, Board of Directors and other departments/divisions as required * Drive strategic initiatives on behalf of the President and the leadership team * Be a thought partner to leadership on the organization’s vision, priorities, challenges, and team culture * Attend meetings on behalf of the President and act as a representative when required * Be deeply involved coordinating both internal and external communications * Help with calendar management, scheduling and logistics for the President Key requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration * Significant experience business or consulting experience * Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders including C-suite * Experience managing multiple complex projects and leading cross-functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance, Quality) * Experience with gathering, analyzing and understanding divergent data and ability to synthesize, formulate hypothesis, recommendations and translate into actionable plans * Experience in developing compelling business cases * Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods would be a great plus * Highly resourceful and excellent problem-solving skills * Passionate for the health and wellness industry Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
