We are looking for a talented individual to join our Team on the position as Business Development Manager focused on Market Insight Offerings .
Start date: as soon as possible
In this position, you will be responsible to sell specific products of the local Market Insight Offerings portfolio (Pharmascope, National/Subnational, Doc-Split, Prescription Data, Local Channel Dynamics), offering enhancements and new features and functions. Your role will encounter but will not be limited to the following missions:
Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities, directed at decision-makers and decision influencers with existing and new clients.
Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and existing accounts.
Actively network in the industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities.
Work with the Sales management to identify and prioritize a list of target account opportunities for each 'prospecting cycle' (e.g. quarterly/semi-annually).
Work with the Sales management to establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account. Ensure an appropriate strategy is proposed to the customer. Monitor actions and results against plans.
Under the leadership of Sales management, continuously monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained.
Lead the sales process, prepare and lead the sales presentations.
Coordinate the development of proposals. Handle the follow-up related to the sale cycle and drive the completion of contractual documents.
Maintain a high level of visibility within the customer organization. Monitor customer satisfaction by communicating regularly with the customer.
Report all sales related activities in IQVIA’s CRM system.
Prepare sales activity reports for Sales management as required.
Serve as a liaison between customers and IQVIA’s Sales & Client Services Team, Offering Development and Marcom at IQVIA AG, Rotkreuz.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related degree.
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience acquired in a similar position, either within the healthcare industry or in a consulting/service company.
Solid understanding of the principles of drug R&D, clinical trials, market access and its commercialization / lifecycle management.
Excellent understanding of business and industry trends, and ability to interpret the trends relevant to the business.
Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.
Strong sales, business development and account management skills, with proven track record.
Self-directed individual, capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, and to maintain demanding timelines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong IT affinity (MS Office Suite, CRM System).
Excellent conversational and business English and (Swiss) German (written and oral); any additional language is of advantage
