    About the team


    The Cluster Digital Communications team is a team of 14 storytellers and digital communications experts who manage the website needs of 30+ agencies and business units across 60+ websites. Some of these include:


  • Births Deaths and Marriages
  • NSW Fair Trading
  • NSW Building Commissioner
  • Liquor and Gaming NSW
  • SafeWork NSW
  • Revenue NSW
  • State Insurance Regulatory Authority

    We work closely with other teams in the Brand, Digital and Communications directorate, such as Campaigns and Marketing, Stakeholder Engagement, Media and Social, Internal Communications and Strategic Projects. So the opportunity for you to grow your network is also significant.

    About the role


    The primary purpose of this role is to write, review and publish website content, ensuring it is targeted, engaging, effective and above all else, customer centric. 
    Experience in the ‘Drupal 8’ and/or ‘Squiz Matrix’ Content Management Systems (CMS) is an advantage but not necessary, training will be provided.


    Key accountabilities include:


  • produce high-quality copy and basic visual content for websites
  • collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and unique challenges to create content that doesn’t just tick a box, but helps our customers
  • ensure digital content is inclusive, accessible and search optimised (SEO) to improve the customer experience
  • effectively manage time, working on simultaneous projects within defined timeframes
  • monitor and respond quickly to service requests submitted by clients

  • This role will report into a Senior Advisor, who reports into the Manager.

    You will:


  • have experience in writing content for digital channels and be interested in page design
  • know how important it is for customers to find your content quickly and understand it once they do
  • have demonstrated you can manage key stakeholder relationships and use influence and negotiation to show them that there might be another way
  • have high level attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation

  • This is a junior grade in our team structure, but there are no small roles.We’re looking for a superstar who can handle the big jobs as well as the small.
